Saleem and Azim exchanges the agreement of Audio rights after signing

Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant has sold the audio rights of the AFC Cup group matches to the first private broadcasting station of the Maldives, DhiFM 95.2. DhiFM who also have bought the audio rights of the matches played by Victory in AFC Cup signed the agreement in a ceremony held in FAM House last night.

Director Ahmed Saleem signed on behalf of DhiFM and New Radiant's chairman Ali Azim signed on behalf of New Radiant.

After the signing ceremony, Director, Ahmed Saleem said they would bring the audio of all the home and away matches of AFC Cup.

"According to the agreement, we would be bringing the audio coverage of all the matches, including home and away matches of New Radiant. However, we have some difficulty in bringing the audio coverage of the match played in Hong Kong due to visa restrictions. However, we are trying to solve it as well"

Saleem also highlighted that other radio stations also could bring the audio according to the agreement and they welcome any proposals for that.

DhiFM 95.2's CEO Ibrahim Khaleed said even though other channels are welcomed to bring the audio, the technical work and the commentary would be given by DhiFM.

New Radiant's chairman Ali Azim said that the decision was taken based on the benefits of the club.

"We talked to Dhivehi Raajjeyge Adu and they also submitted a proposal. We discussed about in club's committee and decided to award it to DhiFM. We wanted to give opportunities for other stations and that was the main reason for the delay.
